We provide psychological evaluation to children candidates for the day-care program and to children already in our Center. The diagnostic procedure focuses on exploring the child’s cognitive as well as emotional functions. Its results are shared with the Interdisciplinary Team in order to boost the competences and highlight the child’s difficulties so as to put together a rehabilitation program tailored to each child’s needs.
We support psychologically our children that are about to undergo scheduled surgery, that are coping with a family crisis or other difficulties. We conduct experiential group sessions for children about to be integrated into the next level of education, into the special education school or into any other special framework, aiming at managing separation from the Center issues and preparing the transition to the new framework.
